According to DIN VDE standards, electrical lines in intrinsically safe installations must be marked with a blue outer shell (RAL 5015). HELUKABEL produces such cables in accordance with DIN VDE 0165, as well as in accordance with the supplement for shielded cable types DIN VDE 0165 Part 1, EN 60079-14 or IEC 60079-14 section 12.2.2.6.
There is no green-yellow protective wire, because these cables are designed for installations with a closed electrical circuit. The use of these cables outside intrinsically safe lines is unacceptable. Cables are designed for dry and wet rooms, they cannot be laid in the ground, as well as outdoors. The PVC shell is resistant to oils and is also difficult to ignite.
